From our humble beginnings of compiling songs to make just the right mixtape and burning mix CDs for road trips with friends, we're experimenting with a new medium to share our love with you, dear listener.
If you're like us, you have a favorite genre or two of music that fills your speakers 80% of the time. But that other 20%? You're out there looking for something different to experience and you might not know where to start. Let us do the hard work for you so all you'll have to do is tune in, sit back, and enjoy.
We listen to music all the time. We play it. We immerse ourselves in it. We discuss it. We live it. We breathe it. (And by "breathe it", we mean smelling the vinyl as it's pulled from its sleeve.) We share it. And what better way to share music than to curate playlists of various genres that play for you throughout the day?
So, what's with the name of this station, Radio Unbound?
We love hearing what music connects with you in an unspoken way. We want this to be a two-way street: we'll share with you what really speaks to us, you share with us what speaks to you. A song? An album? An artist? A whole playlist? Send your suggestions our way and we'll check them out! We may just play it in our rotation and give you a shout-out on the air.
